Our Story

Based in Nipomo, San Luis Obispo County Don Perico is the passion project of two latinos, who met in the cultivation space over 8 years ago and bonded over their Latin heritage and love of cannabis. The idea took root when farm workers began asking for leftover cannabis byproducts to ease their aches, revealing a need for culturally resonant products tailored to the Latin community. Their first creation: Doña Dolores Pomada.

Created to fill that gap, Don Perico focuses on high-quality, approachable, user-friendly products. Its tagline, “Marijuana Tradicional de California,” honors the agricultural legacy and enduring presence of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in the state.

Cesar later partnered with Oakland graffiti artist PEMEX, who became the brand’s creative director, developing the vibrant Latin-inspired palette and signature parrot mascot. Don Perico’s lineup includes cold-cured live rosin, AIO rosin vapes, diamond-infused pre-rolls, and rosin gummies. The brand also introduced Doña Dolores, a wellness line featuring tinctures and topicals.
